Founded in 2000, the NYLGC is now in its 9th year of hosting monthly golf tournaments for ALL GOLFERS (Lawyers and Non-Lawyers) in the New York City tri-state region. Last year, the NYLGC held 7 tournaments at golf clubs in New York and New Jersey, including events at Ballyowen Golf Club and the Architects Golf Club in New Jersey, Patriot Hills Golf Club in Orange County, NY and Long Island National Golf Club. This year, we are looking forward to hosting another 7 tournaments -- one a month from April through October -- at some of the same great spots as last year and some new courses as well, including Timber Point Golf Club. The New York Lawyers Golf Club is an accredited golf club with the Metropolitan Golf Association and the United States Golf Association. By joining the NYLGC, you can establish and maintain an official handicap index which you can then use to play in official tournaments sponsored by these and other organizations. You can also play in other MGA events which are posted on the MGA Website (called MGA Play Days). Further, you can play in other MGA tournaments if you can qualify (i.e. father/son, men's/women's net team, and amateur events). Let me know if you have more questions about these tournaments!
